Review
This elliptical has a good look to it, and with the first strides, a good feel.
Keys calls it "engineering with the biomechanics of the human stride in
mind," and while manufacturer quotes are to be taken with some skepticism,
this is exactly what separates the ET920D from other ellipticals in its class.
The ribbed pedals rest on a more horizontal plane than many other designs, and
this brings a better sense of balance for the user. The handlebars are
ergonomically designed to put the hands in their most natural position. Beyond
these "biomechanics," however, the extra features are extraordinary
in this price range. The console features five programs, plus manual heart rate
control and a fitness test program. EKG levels are monitored by grip pulses for
constant feedback. Finally, the self-powered electromagnetic generator ensures
smooth running operation.
